De la ultima sa carte, \u201eSophia\u201d, are oase, carne, s\u00e2nge, fiori \u015fi parfum.<br \/>\nAutoarea nu a f\u0103cut brusc trecerea de la eseistic\u0103 la roman. De la cuget\u0103rile t\u0103ioase \u015fi o exprimare fragmentar\u0103, \u00eens\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 de p\u0103catul ru\u015finos al senten\u0163iozit\u0103\u0163ii, chingile eseului au fost sl\u0103bite prin \u201eSau nu\u201d, dar mai cu seam\u0103 prin \u201eVortex\u201d. \u00cen care \u00eens\u0103\u015fi Suzan Mehmet autoproclam\u0103 ame\u0163itor o autonomie superior\u0103 de mi\u015fcare literar\u0103, \u00een vreme ce-\u015fi las\u0103 personajele \u00een pace, \u00een traseele destinelor lor, refuz\u00e2nd orice act demiurgic.<br \/>\nNoul roman e despre clip\u0103 ca soart\u0103 \u015fi despre singularitate \u00een colectiv. Comprimatul de g\u00e2ndire (eseul) este \u00eenlocuit cu o proz\u0103 delectabil\u0103, \u00een care panseurile se metabolizeaz\u0103 altfel, iar mesajul nu se dilueaz\u0103, ci, dozat cu m\u0103iestrie \u015fi trecut prin caierul unei pove\u015fti, se \u00eembog\u0103\u0163e\u015fte cu figuri de stil. Ar fi o gre\u015feal\u0103 gr\u0103bit\u0103 s\u0103 se cread\u0103 \u00eens\u0103 c\u0103 \u201eSophia\u201d e un eseu mai mare, numai c\u0103 \u00eenzorzonat.<br \/>\nElogiul efemerului \u015fi dictatul ra\u0163iunii cap\u0103t\u0103 valoare prin palpita\u0163iile pasiunii, sim\u0163ire interzis\u0103 \u2013 prin defini\u0163ie \u2013 de eseu. Printre pietrele tari \u015fi lucioase s-au i\u0163it florile rare ale \u00een\u0103l\u0163imilor. Suzan Mehmet nu renun\u0163\u0103 la foiala necontenit\u0103 \u00eentre ra\u0163iune \u015fi umori, nu se leap\u0103d\u0103 de natura dual\u0103 a omului. E doar o alt\u0103 abordare care, deloc ciudat, aduce mai mult\u0103 coeren\u0163\u0103. Tocmai c\u0103 acum au nume, ca Maia sau Carol, \u015fi c\u0103 sunt co \u2013 ordonate simplu \u015fi omene\u015fte \u00een spa\u0163iu \u015fi timp, vechile, eternele contrarii se atrag n\u0103ucitor \u00een fiin\u0163e pentru care clipa sau secven\u0163a au greutatea poruncilor. Pentru ce? Pentru ca, dup\u0103 fiecare ie\u015fire (imaginar\u0103, ra\u0163ional\u0103?) din cochilie s\u0103 revenim la sine \u201eunde e\u015fti singur, e lini\u015fte, \u015fi nu ai \u00een torb\u0103 dec\u00e2t adev\u0103rul\u201d.<br \/>\nProfitul \u2013 literar \u015fi filosofic, deopotriv\u0103 &#8211; al \u201eSophiei\u201d este \u00eendulcirea \u00eendoielii carteziene: \u201eM\u0103 \u00eendoiesc, deci cuget; cuget, deci exist; exist, deci iubesc!\u201d. Este aceea\u015fi arie, \u00een fapt, doar c\u00e2ntat\u0103 cu alte instrumente care \u0163in isonul polifoniei.<br \/>\nPrin ferestrele Suzanei Mehmet, via\u0163a e la fel. Cu pomi, vr\u0103bii, r\u00e2uri, flori \u015fi sentimente, e \u00eens\u0103 un peisaj deja acceptabil.
